Back on Track

I have to admit, I’ve sent Chappy’s quilt to the man with the long arm quilting machine because I couldn’t face it. I started the sandwich and just wanted to stick a pin in my eye instead.

Anyway onwards and upwards. I couldn’t face the birdie sling either, it seems my sewjo has still not entirely returned. Enter the Jane Market bag. My friend LOVES neon so I went to the stash and found this duck canvas I bought from Spotlight a few months ago. I only had a small piece so excuse my lack of matching. It’s a super quick pattern to make and a great size.  I  didn’t “box” the bag as per instructions because I liked the shape as is. I’m not sure I’m going to give it to her because I LOVE neon too. She likes soap, I know….

I also whipped these beauts out for yet another birthday party on the weekend using my usual MIP’s Slumber Party Pjs. Does the birthday party roundabout ever stop? There are 3 this weekend and two next week. How come I don’t have the social life of my children?

    I love that neon bag!
I reckon it will be quite difficult to give it away (although that would be a great excuse to make another one),
My kid’s social life is also busier (and much more fun) than mine 🙂 I wonder why?

Fabulous bag – but really, soap would make a much lovelier present 😉
Glad to hear you sew-jo is slowly returning…..

My kids definitely have a busier social life than I do! It seems like they are always off to an outing or party.;)

    The bag looks great, Peta!
